Specialised Support
Paediatric Physiotherapy
Children develop at their own pace, but when a disability or developmental delay affects movement, early physiotherapy support can make a profound difference. Our paediatric physiotherapists work with children and their families to build strength, coordination, and confidence — helping every child reach their potential.
Gross Motor Skill Development
Gross motor skills — the ability to use large muscle groups for crawling, walking, jumping, climbing, and balancing — are the foundation of a child's physical independence. Our physiotherapists design fun, goal-focused programs that build these skills in a way that feels natural and encouraging for your child.
- Strengthening core and limb muscles
- Improving balance, coordination, and posture
- Building confidence in movement and physical play
- Functional mobility training for home and school
- Assistive equipment assessment and prescription
Developmental Milestone Support
Every child's developmental journey is unique. When milestones such as sitting, standing, walking, or running are delayed, early physiotherapy intervention can help bridge the gap. We work closely with families, carers, and early childhood educators to support each child's progress in a holistic, family-centred way.
- Assessment of developmental delays and movement patterns
- Targeted programs to support sitting, standing, and walking
- Sensory and motor integration activities
- Family and carer education and home exercise programs
- Collaboration with paediatricians, OTs, and speech therapists
Is your child eligible for paediatric physiotherapy?
Paediatric physiotherapy is funded under the NDIS for children with an eligible disability or developmental delay. If your child has Improved Daily Living or Improved Health and Wellbeing funding in their NDIS plan, they may be able to access our paediatric physiotherapy services. Contact us to discuss your child's needs.
